Very thin, semi-hollow, ES-5 inspired electric guitar. Loaded with Novak GT Jazzmaster bridge pickup, Goldo Tremolo and Schaller Roller bridge.
This ES inspired thinline electric guitar is an experiment in using Spruce as a top to enhance overall harmonic complexity and sustain. Paired with a hollowed out Hard Maple back and sides, the result is a very resonant, full sounding electric guitar, while retaining some weight and having some body. The finish is "accidental pink" as I meant for it to be slightly more orange... but I really started to like this colour, so I rolled with it. The neck is ebonized using a traditional method of Vinegar & Steel wool, and french polished to give it an already vintage feel. The finish is semi-gloss waterbased lacquer, lightly distressed. The Novak GT Jazzmaster goldfoil bridge pickup makes this a versatile instrument - Fender-like chime and bite, without all the added noise. This is an arched instrument, with both the top and back having been carved by hand. There is a small baby chip in the cutaway, near the neck pocket - instead of spending hours trying to drop fill and fix it, I'm selling this at a reduced price. This has been a display instrument for the last year, so it's been played by a number of people. I generally sell these instruments off once they've done their duty, so this is a MINT instrument, bordering on Brand New.
