Life's a Peach - an homage to 2020

Have you ever set out on a path, only to end up nowhere near the imagined outcome? I set out to paint this guitar light orange, which it very much looked like it when being applied. After letting the finish set, I came back into the paint booth to find a peach pink finish... huh. This build wasn't a commission, and the colour quickly grew on me, so I opted to not strip it, and just roll with it. To be honest, it's a guitar that has been referenced by some of my recent customers as one that really caught their attention, which led to further commissions. I went with my gut on this one, and I ended up with a sweet peach. Currently living in Tehkumah, Ontario with this guy named Steve.

Iron Acetate stained Black Cherry neck, EI Rosewood fingerboard, Eastern White Spruce carved top, Eastern Hard maple carved Back/Sides, therefor it's a semi-hollow. The control cavities are accessible with the control knobs removed, a very stealth and minimalist approach. Goldeo Les Trem, Schaller roller bridge, Grover Sta-tite machine heads.
